After a hugely successful launch in 2013, The Lawyer Management Conference and Awards are back for their second year running and promise to be even bigger and better.
This unique event is aimed specifically at senior operational and strategic decision makers within law firms. A one day conference is followed by a glittering awards evening, which recognises and celebrates the vital contribution operational departments make to the modern law firm.
The event focuses on a number of core support disciplines including:
- HR and Talent Management
- Research and Knowledge Management
- Risk and Compliance
- Facilities and Operations
- Business Development and Communications
This is the only awards initiative which rewards those responsible for operational and strategic management functions within law firms, giving them the chance to finally get the recognition that they deserve for their achievements.
The award categories have been carefully compiled to reflect the full range of services which take place behind-the-scenes, including but not limited to HR, financial management, technology and business development.

The entry process was free, we asked that submissions are accompanied by a donation to our charity partner Refuge. Last year we raised nearly £16,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support from both donations made with your entries and donations made at the Awards.
Our editorially-led programme delivered through a series of streams and featuring an opening and closing keynote plenary, covers the key business issues facing the modern law firm. In an increasingly competitive market place, firms are under pressure to reduce costs, improve efficiencies and deliver an improved client service. We examine whether this is possible, and if so, how it can be achieved. We also look to the future of legal service delivery and the evolution of the current model.
This year’s programme and speaker list will be announced shortly.
A limited number of free places are available for Managing Partners, CEO, CIO, CFO, COO of law firms.
